This show did most of getting me into castles, Dan Jones is a very charismatic and entertaining presenter, making the episodes feel light and the information easy to
digest and absorb despite each episode running for about 40 minutes. Each episode covers a castle in the United Kingdom,
with it's history, myths, whom it was
ordered by
and its's role in subjects such as the countries politics, war and culture. Showcasing and explaining also elements of what makes a castle and what it served at the timeit was constructed.
Excellent show to learn not only of architecture but of major and minor world events and figures too.
